1.    Balmoral Park (Mosman)
With breathtaking views over Middle Harbour and North Head, the grassy parkland along the promenade and the sandy shoreline of the beach make prime picnic spots during the warmer months. 2.    Sawmiller Reserve (McMahons Point)
Known as one of Sydney’s ‘hidden gems’ this quiet park presents harbour views minus the crowds. Soak up some forgotten history that dating back to 1880 in this secret paradise with expansive views across Pyrmont and Balmain.
 
3.    Burns Bay Reserve (Riverview)
This waterfront park lies on the bank of the Lane Cove River, making it one of the most tranquil spots for the perfect picnic set up. There is plenty of open space and facilities, with picnic tables as well as a playground and sports grounds to keep the kids entertained for hours. 

4.    Clifton Gardens (Mosman)
Nestled deep within a coveted Mosman enclave, Clifton Gardens offers spectacular views of Vaucluse and the Eastern Suburbs. The calm waters of Chowder Bay, combined with the large surrounding parklands makes this the ideal picnic spot.
